FAQs

When should I drop off and collect my child from the residence/hotel?

Drop offs should be made from 12pm onwards on the Sunday prior to the start of the programme. The players induction will take place between 4-5:30pm before the evening meal. Collections should be made from the same location as arrivals. See map below for pick up/drop off point.

What happens at the residence/hotel in the evenings?

Upon return to the residence, the players will go for their evening meal. This will be followed by an evening activity which will be run by the Manchester City coaches for three of the nights and by the BSC Activity Team for the others. At approx. 8pm they will return to their flats where they can relax in their flats common room before bed time.

Is there on-site parking available at the residence?

Yes. There are two on-site car parks. Both of which have to be paid for if the stay is longer than two hours.

Is there anybody supervising the children at night?

Yes. There will be a team member situated in each flat to handle any issues that may take place overnight.

How can I contact my child at the residence/hotel?

If the child has a mobile phone, they will be able to use this in the evenings once they return to their living space.

Will my child be permitted to leave the residence/hotel?

No. Trips away from the residence will only be supervised preplanned excursions or the daily trips to the Etihad Campus and Connell College.

Can I stay with my child at the residence?

No. Our fantastic group of team members will be there to cater for all of your child’s needs throughout the programme 24/7. We ask that all parents stay off-site to ensure the heightened independence of the players during the programme. Parents will be welcomed to the awards ceremony at the conclusion of their child’s programme. Should a parent/carer wish to book a hotel for the duration of the programme, once their child’s booking has been made, a member of our sales team will be happy to help find the best option.
